Role Overview
As a Midweight Creative Designer, you will play a key role in the design team, contributing to the development and execution of creative concepts across various projects. While there is some involvement in client-facing activities, the primary focus of this role is on design execution and collaboration within the team. You will work closely with senior designers and project managers, utilising your skills in AutoCAD and Revit to produce high-quality designs that align with client briefs and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design Execution: Collaborate with the Senior Creative Designer and the wider team to develop and refine design concepts, ensuring that all work meets the high standards of the company.
Project Development: Work on the design development phase of projects, creating detailed drawings, plans, and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit.
Client Support: Assist in client presentations and meetings as needed, providing support to senior team members and contributing to the successful communication of design ideas.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure a cohesive approach to project delivery, adhering to timelines and budgets.
Technical Proficiency: Utilise your advanced skills in AutoCAD and Revit to produce accurate and detailed designs, ensuring that all deliverables meet both client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Trend Research: Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and technologies, integrating new ideas and innovations into your work to enhance design quality and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a creative design role, ideally within a Design & Build environment.
Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential. Familiarity with other design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is beneficial.
Design Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to deliver innovative and impactful design solutions.
Collaboration Skills: Experience working within a team, with the ability to take direction and contribute effectively to group projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
