Our client is a leading commercial premises design and build company, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including property owners, facilities managers and corporate real estate agents.
Conduct market research and identify potential clients in the commercial property sector
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through effective networking, prospecting, and cold calling.
Collaborate with the design and project management teams to create tailored proposals and presentations for clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business opportunities.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven track record in business development and sales, preferably in the commercial property or office fit-out industry.
In-depth knowledge of the commercial property market, including an understanding of lease negotiations, building regulations, and space planning.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Expectations
Bring in and drive £5m of enquiries to result in £1.5m in orders.
Use your existing network of corporate consultants (including PMs, Building surveyors, Architects)
