Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to join our client’s Aftercare Team, focusing on small works projects ranging from £100k to £2 million. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects post-completion, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standards. This is a key role within a small, dedicated team of six, all working towards delivering outstanding results for our clients in London.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of small works projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Coordination: Work closely with the aftercare team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally to ensure client satisfaction.
Quality Control: Ensure that all works are carried out in compliance with company standards, building regulations, and health and safety requirements.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
Flexibility: Be prepared to cover weekends and nights on a week on, week off basis as required, ensuring continuous project progress and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably within an aftercare or small works environment.
Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a small team.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within the £100k to £2 million range.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A valid UK driving license is essential.
