Our client, a leading Design and Build (D&B) company based in London, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Document Controller to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and control project documentation, ensuring all documents are up-to-date, properly stored, and easily accessible.
Ensure documents meet company standards and industry regulations.
Maintain and update document registers, tracking revisions and approvals.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely document submissions and distribution.
Assist in creating, maintaining, and distributing various project documents (drawings, reports, manuals, etc.).
Manage document version control and ensure only the latest versions are in use.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure document requirements are met.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all documents.
Archive and retrieve documents as required by project teams.
Support the project team with general administrative duties as needed.
Skills & Experience:
Up to 2 years of experience in Document Control, ideally within the construction, architecture, or D&B sectors.
Familiarity with document management software (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, 4Projects) is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Qualifications:
Any relevant certifications in Document Control or Project Management are advantageous but not essential.
