Quantity Surveyor

A quantity surveyor is required for a growing client with a focus on high-end residential. The successful applicant will be needed to fit within the existing team who are dynamic and have a team focused mind-set for the greater good of the company.
Take responsibility for collation and pricing a number of projects from £ 50k - £ 1.5 million
Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project.
Measure and value the work done on site. To assist and work closely with the Director and finance
Good understanding of project risk and costing processes
Input into the management of subcontractors and the subcontract cycle
Understanding of dispute resolution
Contribution to the timely production of CVR’s
Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
Select and/or source construction materials
The ideal candidate must be a good team player, highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast paced working environment
