Contracts Manager

Permanent

£75,000 + Package

Long Description:

Contracts Manager to manage several kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects and leading Site Managers, with a minimum of two years of continuous service in a similar role.  Must have successfully delivered planned work contracts.  The ideal candidate has strong commercial understanding, business acumen and exceptional people management skills.

Duties include:

  • Manage and oversee kitchen and bathroom refurbishment planned work projects within the social housing sector, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards – up to 5 contracts.

  • Implement effective contract management practices to mitigate risks, ensure projects’ success and take ownership of contract negotiations.

  • Work closely with housing associations, local councils and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and client expectations.

  • Build positive relationships with clients and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop and manage projects’ budget, ensuring financial objectives are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Identify cost optimisation opportunities to contribute to overall project profitability.

  • Implement and oversee quality compliance processes to ensure that planned maintenance works meet industry standards and client specifications.

  • Collaborate with project teams and contractors to uphold quality benchmarks.

  • Lead, mentor and motivate project teams to achieve excellence in performance.

  • Cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
