Long Description:
Contracts Manager to manage several kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects and leading Site Managers, with a minimum of two years of continuous service in a similar role. Must have successfully delivered planned work contracts. The ideal candidate has strong commercial understanding, business acumen and exceptional people management skills.
Duties include:
Manage and oversee kitchen and bathroom refurbishment planned work projects within the social housing sector, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards – up to 5 contracts.
Implement effective contract management practices to mitigate risks, ensure projects’ success and take ownership of contract negotiations.
Work closely with housing associations, local councils and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and client expectations.
Build positive relationships with clients and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and manage projects’ budget, ensuring financial objectives are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Identify cost optimisation opportunities to contribute to overall project profitability.
Implement and oversee quality compliance processes to ensure that planned maintenance works meet industry standards and client specifications.
Collaborate with project teams and contractors to uphold quality benchmarks.
Lead, mentor and motivate project teams to achieve excellence in performance.
Cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
